When I first moved to Saudi Arabia, my passion for table tennis found a home in my dad's gym. With no formal training, I embarked on a journey of self-learning through countless matches. In time, a thriving community of over 30 enthusiasts emerged within the gym's walls. As the school team captain, I had the privilege of guiding and mentoring over 15 players, playing a pivotal role in their development. Together, we clinched the zonal championship and represented our school at the national level, marking a remarkable chapter in my journey as a table tennis enthusiast and team leader.
I embarked on my martial arts journey during my school years, where I had my first taste of the discipline and the excitement of competitions. These early experiences instilled in me the core values of traditional martial arts and helped shape my character. Through hard work and dedication, I managed to earn a total of 8 medals, including 4 Gold, 2 Silver, and 2 Bronze. The green belt marked a significant milestone before I moved to Saudi Arabia, and I continued to pursue my passion for martial arts, even participating in 'kata' competitions. I'm proud to hold certifications from the International Taekwondo Federation and in Shito-Ryu Karate, reflecting my dedication to these arts. What truly warms my heart, though, is the chance to guide over 40 aspiring martial artists, passing on the knowledge and love for these disciplines.
My journey into the world of yoga took an unconventional but meaningful path. It all began as a part of the Duke of Edinburgh's Award program, especially during the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic. Over the past 3-4 years, I've dedicated myself to mastering over 40 asanas or yoga poses. The ideals and philosophies of yoga have become my guiding light, helping me find inner peace and physical well-being. Beyond my personal journey, I'm passionate about spreading the art and importance of yoga within my community, encouraging others to embrace this ancient practice as a path to overall well-being and inner harmony.
